The WEC Study Bundle

Your official pathway to qualify for the World Final

Starting in 2027, qualification for the World Economics Cup is earned entirely through the official WEC Study Bundle on the LearningFirst platform. There is no separate qualification examination — the bundle is the qualification pathway.

The bundle consists of six collections covering the economics foundations of the competition. Each collection combines learning materials with an assessment and is worth up to 130 points (780 points in total). Students qualify by earning 470 points or more, studying at their own pace before the qualification deadline.

How the WEC Study Bundle Works

Six collections, one standard: earn 470 of 780 points to qualify for the World Final.

Learn & Earn

Each collection covers core economics content — from classical theories to citizen-level economics — with learning materials and assessments worth up to 130 points per collection.

The 470-Point Standard

Accumulate 470 points or more across the bundle to qualify. Every student who reaches the standard qualifies — there is no ranking or quota competition at this stage.

Self-Paced Preparation

There is no fixed qualification test date. Study on your own schedule and complete the WEC Study Bundle before the qualification deadline to become qualified.
